"Soldiers never die until they are forgotten. Tomb Guards never forget."

Don't forget to thank a Veteran today.

I was stationed at Bethesda Naval Hospital for about a year back in 1981 and never grew tired of taking visitors to Arlington to watch the Changing of the Guard...can't think of a more sacred space within our borders than the Tomb of the Unknowns.

When I was stationed at Quantico I had a couple of friends who were members of The Old Guard. One of them was a sentinel, and I was always blown away by what they did. I also was honored to be given access to their quarters under the amphitheatre. Incredible group of people, and I'm sure that hasn't changed.
