Dog Chapman and the Reverend Al

I've been watching Fox News over the past half hour or so, and the prompt for this post was an interview done with the Rev. Al Sharpton regarding the trouble Dwayne "Dog" Chapman is because of the rather nasty things he said during a phone conversation with his son. Now, while I understand why there is so much upset about what Dog said, one of the things that nobody is talking much about is that his son sold the audio of the phone conversation to the National Enquirer. Sold it!

I would question why he did that. While I don't know the answer to that, I can only speculate that he was going for some sort of retribution. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

Listening and watching the interview between the Fox folks and the Rev. Al was, as usual, like watching someone trying to pee into a headwind. It was loud, chaotic, and totally nonsensical. Nobody was listening to anyone - it was a total fiasco. But it seems like every time I watch the Rev. Al it's like that.

As for Dog, what was said between him and his son should have stayed between him and his son, wrong as it may have been. I wasn't wild about the words I heard, but it was between the two of them and no one else. At least it should have been that way.

I am totally in agreement with you it should have been private, plus free speech. Next, they'll air your prayers. Some people feel power when they can tell people what they can or cannot say.

I agree.... Son did a possible irrepreble thing. My mother and I have not talked in close to a year and this is not the first time. Somehow, maybe there was a switch in the delivery room; my mother and 'Dog's' son sound like a perfect fit! Do you know the most dangerous place in America? It is the point on a straight line between Rev. Al Sharpton and a live media crew! PS Can you please give us medics that are pondering the CCEMT-P class some blow-by-blow honest accounts of what the class is worth. Is it just another patch and something I can read in a book? What are the price ranges and places you can take it. THANKS IN INDIANAPOLIS P.S. You have one of the most honest and non-egotistical medic posts I have seen on here along with a few select others. Thanks for making some of us look like decent people :)
