I'm having an "I hate my life" moment. I just got back from the wound clinic - turns out I have Cellulitis in my left foot. We thought the systemic swelling I'm having in my foot was maybe dependent edema, but we were wrong.
I filled a prescription for Ciproxfloxacin, 10 days worth, and just got home from the pharmacy. Now all I have to do is pray I don't rupture my other Achilles tendon, as that is a listed precaution per the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (the "FDA"). Plus, I'll have to make sure I eat when I take it or my stomach will hate me even more than it already does.
In the words of my favorite cartoon cat, "Oh, Joy."
On a better note, these guys are amazing!

Well, doesn't that just suck. I hope the antibiotic works quickly, but from what I've seen "quickly" is a relative term in Cellulitis.
Be careful with both of those Archilles tendons.
Get better soon.
Thank you, my friend.
For the next couple of weeks, at least, I have to be super careful; all I would need is to become totally incapacitated over this. That is not something I even want to imagine, understandably.
Oh geez! I took Levaquin (sp?) for pneumonia.......I was also worried about tendon rupture etc. Since I also have a contective tissue disorder. Gotta love those drugs:(
