Confinement: Episode 4

Actually some good news to report. I am going home today. Probably sometime this afternoon, in fact. And I won't need a PICC line placed.

The doc from infectious diseases just left me. She informed me that there was only a single strain of gram negative bacteria that she wanted to treat. It can be handled with oral anti-biotics, specifically with Sulfa drugs, probably Bactrim or something from the same class.

That makes me very happy.

I will continue this as more happens, but things are indeed looking up.

Yay! Great news indeed, all the way around! John and I send you all best on this Maundy Thursday evening. You and Martha will be remembered in our prayers for blessings in this next leg [no pun intended] of your journey.

Glad to hear the good news, Walt. Keep up the good work and you'll be as good as new, soon.
