Predictable Behavior

It was only a matter of time before this was to be reported by the news media. Thank you, CNN...

Hospitals like Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch, California, set up triage tents to handle overcrowding

Overcrowding in many ED’s across the United States. For nothing – the vast majority of patients showing up and overcrowding the ED’s are not sick.

Panic. In some places it is starting to set in. Not a good thing. And not necessary. Unfortunately, it was only a matter of time.

Ugh! We knew that was coming, didn't we? Did you read where the Public Health Lab had tested 189 for flu, and 186 tested negative?Good heavens, people need to realize this thing doesn't appear to be as bad as the seasonal flu. Using normal precautions such as hand washing and staying away from sick people should soothe the shattered nerves of those rushing to the ER.

Whew! I'm so glad the person and their child who live in Eastern Sullivan County were dropped from the list for testing for N1H1. I might have had to move!
