One more shopping day.....

Thank God!!! All of our stuff is done. My wife did a bunch of baking (all really good stuff), I wrapped gifts and cleaned up after the bake-off, and the kids are all home. Now all I have to do is survive over the next 2 days. I think I can; I just need to ensure that I do.

My wife is a Psychiatric nurse who also has ED/Critical Care credentials. Being the twisted person that I am, I have to admit that what she shared with me is pretty wild. However, it is hysterically funny. It's been around the Web in the past, and I'm sure it's made its way into the mailboxes of some of you out there. Hopefully it won't be too offensive.....

"Now there were shepherds in that region living in the fields and keeping the night watch over their flock. The angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were struck with great fear. The angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.' And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:
'Glory to God in the highest
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.' "

"angel true" talks too much without saying anything. He claims to be a life coach, but has no credentials, and my personal interactions with him show him to be totally egotistical who learned some catchphrases from a deepok chopra book.
