After The Election

It is a good day to be alive.

Regardless of how you voted yesterday - and this is an important thing to remember - we made history. The turnout for the election was the highest it has been since 1964 with approximately 131 million voters casting ballots. And with this large number of people voting, the Nation sent a message to the Government with the way the vote went: things cannot continue as they have.

Now that the message has been sent, let us hope and pray that those who will be our leaders have received it, loud and clear. And let us also hope and pray that they will know what to do with the "meat of the message" when it is their turn to govern.
