Better Hands Than Mine

I've had enough.

There. I said it.

I am done fighting what has become an uphill battle with my leg and foot. I simply can't do it anymore, as it has worn me out.

I've decided that I will give this up to The One who can handle this better than I can. If I'm supposed to heal up as fast as I would want, then it is up to Him, not me.

I should have done this in the first place.

MY LORD GOD,
I have no idea where I am going.
I do not see the road ahead of me.
I cannot know for certain where it will end.
Nor do I really know myself,
And the fact that I think I am following Your will
Does not mean that I am actually doing so.
But I believe the desire to please You
Does in fact please You.
And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing.
And I know that if I do this
You will lead me by the right road
Though I may know nothing about it.
Therefore I will trust You always
Though I may seem to be lost
And in the shadow of death.
I will not fear, for you are ever with me
And You will never leave me to face my perils alone.

Sometimes that's all you can do...

I'm thinking off you and sending prayers your way.

It's the only thing that truly works. Humbling yourself and praying. Trusting that God knows best, and that He loves you.

And don't forget to stick your foot in the ocean now and then! Good luck, Walt, you are already healing.

I don't pray, but I DO understand the frustration that comes with setbacks to healing.

Things WILL get better, Walt. In the meantime, you have my email addy should you need/want to rant/vent.
