Ah! Haiku! Very nice. Love Haiku, and the moon on the ocean Friday night was AMAZING. Thanks for posting such "lean" disciplined poetry. Great exercise for the brain and the spirit. How was class on Friday?
Thanks, Karen. I really enjoy writing Haiku, mostly because it is more difficult than it appears. Your description of it being "exercise for the brain and spirit" is right on the money; it definitely works on both.
Class was really interesting; I have a feeling I'm going to be the person that destroys the bell curve. We'll see whether or not that's true, however. Right now I'm looking forward to it being a solid learning experience. The instructor (he's a DC - I'll bet he knows skeletal anatomy rather well) seems like he'll be good. More to follow.
Thank you, Susie. I really appreciate the feedback.
As I was telling Karen, Haiku is my favorite type of poetry. It appeals to the part of my nature that craves order, and I think that's why I like writing it so much.

I like this very much indeed = I did comment on your FB but you may have missed that - you should do more, a real talent for Haiku

I will definitely work on more. I promise.
